Linear Motion Shafts (LM Shaft) is hardened and ground shaft with high precision for linear motion which can be used with Ball Bushing.
Linear Shafts are usually used in combination with Linear Bearings for Linear Guidance System in forward and reverse motion in many Industrial Automation applications.
Linear shafts are available in materials like CF 53, CK 45 and for corrosion prevention application SUJ 440C is used. These Shafts are Induction, Ground and Hard Chrome plated and Hardness is between 58 ~ 62 HRC ( Rockwell Hardness ). Hard Chroming is done basically its Flash Hard Chrome Plating. Thickness of layer is around 10 Microns.
The common Sizes available from Stocks are from diameters SF 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 80mm and lengths from 3mm ~ 6mm – 1000mm Long and 8mm ~ 16mm – 4000mm Long and 20mm to SF 80mm – 5000mm Long
